Invest in History! Donors were crucial to the acquisition of the Peter Dougherty Historic Home Site located in the Village of Old Mission on the Old Mission Peninsula in Northern Michigan. Donors are also crucial for the successful continued stewardship of this historic site. Your charitable contribution to “Peter Dougherty Society” helps restore and preserve this National Historic Register site and tell the many stories about inspirational people who lived and worked at Old Mission and to demonstrate how their lives contributed to the growth of our multiethnic farming community.

The Peter Dougherty Society relies on donations to  to renovate, restore and preserve this important piece of Old Mission history. The Society also plans to create a place of adventure, fun and excitement. The educational programs and family-based activities will, we hope, instill in our visitors a sense of enthusiasm and inquiry leading to a lifelong appreciation of our community’s history.
